Chris and Gemma’s Lillibrooke Adventure

How did you and your Husband meet?
“My partner is Chris, we met on Tinder back in 2017. The proposal was unexpected, as we enjoyed a lovely meal with our friends and took a walk over Richmond bridge. It was like I was spun around, it happened so quickly but it was just right .”
Where was your wedding venue?
“We had a very bad experience at another venue, which put us in a bad mood but once we visited Lillibrooke Manor and the lovely Laura gave us an amazing tour which got us so excited about the venue we just fell in love with it. The detailed features of the venue, the barn was just gorgeous.”
How did you find your various suppliers?
“I’ve known my florist, photographer, cake maker for years and I knew I wanted them for our wedding day as I know how amazing and the skills they have. “
“For the other supplier they were just great, made everything happen and come true on the day.”

What 3 tips would you give to other brides planning their day?
Don’t stress about the day, if anything goes wrong who cares just go with the flow and roll with it as it will turn out even better.
Forget about the weather stop overthinking about it, either way your day will be great still.
When picking your bridal party, make sure you have picked the right people and not who’s been there for you from the beginning. Pick the people you want the vibe on your wedding day.
What was your favourite part of the planning process?
“Visiting my venue a few times, using Pinterest to explore and find ways of creating our musical festival wedding theme. “
What was your most memorable moment of the day?
“Spending the day with the people who we love and adore.”
What did you enjoy the most about your Boo Adventure?
“Trying on my wedding dress, when it was the final alteration realising how everything was becoming real. (Plus bringing home my gorgeous dress)”
Who was your Most Valuable Person on the day?
“My maid of honours and one of the organisers Gemma at the venue. Hey why pick one when you can pick two lol. They were my rocks on the day of the wedding, the encouragement and vibe on the day I couldn’t have got through the day without them.”
