The Wedding Industry Awards

Babes of Boo - Aimee, Anna, Emma & Poppy

Wow!  What a rollercoaster of a week it has been! I honestly don’t know if I am coming or going, but what I do know is that I am completely over the moon.

This Tuesday saw the South Central regional finals of The Wedding Industry Awards (affectionately known as TWIA) and our little boutique in it’s leafy Hampshire village, was nominated for the award.  I should mention at this point, that these awards are so special to all of us in the wedding industry as they are voted for by our couples, which makes them even more special.

Old Thorns - Liphook

We had taken a few years off from entering awards due to covid.  It felt very wrong shouting about our own achievements when so many businesses were having difficulty, or worse - having to close.  So this year, we felt that we needed to celebrate the fact that we were still here, and still making dreams come true.  It also seemed fitting as I had reached a personal milestone of it being 5 years since I had taken over at Boo, and the boutique was just how I wanted it to be.

Oh what a night!

This year, Old Thorns in Liphook was our host venue, and what a wonderful job they did.  The girls and I were so excited when we arrived and were looking forward to a fantastic evening of celebrating the industry.  We never imagined for one second that we would win!!

So proud of my team

We are so grateful to each and every bride who took the time to vote for us and leave their comments.  I still can’t quite believe it!

Our Regional awards 2020 & 2023 and our highly commended certificate 2019.

Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart
